Not too many more but some fun ones.

A Respect For One Another
This past weekend I was sitting in a room filled with some of the best motorcycling talent in the world. Included were motocross racers Ryan Villopoto and Timmy Ferry, road racer Roger Hayden, drag racer Rickey Gadson, stunt rider Kane Friesen, and off-road rider and Baja Champion Larry Rosseler.
As I was in the room watching the guys talk about their battle scars, they had a respect for one another. Sometimes we forget that even though they are different, each has a distinct talent and ability. I hate it when people say motocross is better, or road race is better, ect. Each discipline of racing a difficult in its own right.
And after watching Villopoto amazed at Hayden's loss of pinky finger and all the gnarly pictures he saw, there was a respect. I doubt Ryan would admit it but each racing in its own right is gnarly.
Just another lesson from just sitting back and watching people. I love people watching.

Bass Pro Shop = A Good Time For All
This past weekend I had the privilege of going to Bass Pro Shop. So it wasn't entirely my cup of tea but if I was in to all that stuff, I would be in heaven. I think they carried everything needed for the outdoors advocate and then some. Below are some pictures from the night out on the town at Bass Pro Shop. Be ready to be amazed!
For this SoCal girl, its the first time I have seen a "take a number" sign in front a a gun display. We wait for everything else, why not guns!
The store is big enough to house a restaurant. Ryan took full advantage of the T-Bone steak that was on the menu. He wanted to eat it so bad, he couldn't hold still for a pic.

I love this pic. Adam is concentrating very hard to get his signature perfected (which will be worth a lot someday)
Everyone was having a good time.
So these are a little out of order but I had to save the best for last:

Football Game? No it's BASEBALL!!!
41 Total Hits. 28 Total Runs.
It doesn't sound like a baseball game but it was in fact a game like no other i have been to. I am currently in Dallas, Texas for work and got the opportunity (thank you bobby) to go to the Angels vs. Rangers at Rangers Ballpark. The tickets were amazing! And what's even better...they WON!
As i sat there, heckling the Ranger fans around me, i realized that I got to see something that doesn't happen very often; the Angels actually beat the Rangers. Out of all the amazing teams we can beat, the Rangers always give us trouble. Anyhow, I had the most fun I have had in a long time at an Angel game. I can't wait for the playoffs.
This very funny "senior" was sitting in front of us and his hat definitely caught my eye. Bushwacker 2000. Instead of a Segway, Ryan should think about getting one these. Sounds so much cooler!

Cool guy Garrett Anderson didn't want to sign an autograph for me. I was a little sad after being such a loyal fan for over a decade.

Family
Tears of defeat
My beloved Vikings lost in their first game. I'm a little worried since they are playing the Colts but the Colts didn't look too good in their first appearance either. So we shall see my faithful fans...we shall see.

The Boys are Back!!!
I am sure most of you noticed but my second favorite sport is back in season! FOOTBALL!!
Tonight is the first game of the season for my Minnesota Vikings. Yes, I am from California and I like the Vikings. I am definitely not a Chargers fan. Not really sure why. I told Andy Boywer it was because I'm not gangster enough. Either way... no go on the Chargers.
To be honest, after the L.A. Rams left in 1994, I had no team until I was sent some Vikings paraphernalia for Christmas from family friends in Minnesota. From then on I was a fan. Hat in place and foam finger in hand, I was cheering for them every year. And yes, they continued to break my heart.
This year, I have heard some commentators say that the Viks have what it takes to be Superbowl material. I am liking that prediction.
In any case, I am super excited for football to be back!

Bluetooth Fashion
So today i was sitting outside at the spectrum for lunch and I realized something pretty scary: California law has turned people into unfashionable human beings. Haha. Well let me explain.
Ever since California implemented the law of hands-free cell phone use while driving, I've seen a jump in unfashionable bluetooth use. I don't know if these people realize that the law only requires one to wear the bluetooth while driving, but the people are wearing them everywhere. And they aren't even talking to anyone!
I know its not that big of a deal but its funny to look around the world we live in an see who is influencing the things we do. In this case, its the state/government. I still refuse to wear a bluetooth and am going to continue to find devices that don't cause me to wear a big piece of plastic in my ear.
What do you think?

What A Weekend!
Hello and welcome to a fun-filled experience with...me. Ok So it might not be as fun as I'm saying but I'm thinking there will be a few fun photos. Oh and a creepy video of a town full of scarecrows. Weird. Apparently there isn't too much going on in Braselton if you're trying to break the record for most scarecrows.
Have fun with the photos!!!
