Halloween at Kawasaki!

Halloween is a fun time around the Kawasaki office. Lots of people are dressed up and I was involved in a skit that won our group $100. That's right! In the skit, I was a "racer-chaser" with this guy who actually dressed up like a girl (see pictures). I couldn't bring myself to wear something as slutty as he did but I played the part and had fun! Happy Halloween!

Here are the Team Greenables. It consists of four dedicated employees of our Team Green program. They go big! (Nice Tights)

This is the Team Manager for Team Green. Don't let him fool you! He's quietly hilarious!

This is our rider that comes in on his broken motorcycle that needs the help of the Team Greenables! (He's the truck driver for Team Green)

Ok...there isn't much to say other than he didn't leave any detail out. He has the g-string, tramp stamp on his back, earings, ...the works!

Do you see me? I hoped I would be camouflaged in with Derek (the guy dressed as a girl). I think we were laughing because as they were changing the tire, they dropped the bike off the stand.

I think I'll keep running the purple hair.

Ok, this won best costume. It won't mean anything that doesn't work at Kawi but she is dressed like the guy who delivers all the packages. He has a very distinct look and she pulled off the strut to win her the best costume title!

This is who she was dressed up as...Richard.

This was second place for very good reason! She is a small girl and her body type fit perfectly to be a small child being carried away by an alien. How cool is that!?

Free is the best price!

Hello everyone,
I already showed you what has happened during my first two days of being in Minnesota. Now here is what happened in the second two days. I actually met this awesome guy on the plane on my way to Minnesota who worked for the country singer Dierks Bentley. I had never heard of him but I listened to a few songs and really liked him. He invited Andy and I to the concert they were having on Saturday night about an hour and a half from Minneapolis. Talk about good seats. We were right there next to the stage! Dierks' show was really entertaining and I now have two of his CD's since he sold me with his great voice and fun lyrics.

A trip to Minnesota wouldn't be complete without a Vikings game. Did I mention it was also free? Andy and I were getting hooked up all over the place. First the concert and now Vikings tickets. I honestly hadn't been to a football game since the L.A. Rams played at Angel Stadium. Since I claimed to be a Vikings fan most of my childhood, it was so fun to be able to go there and cheer for them (even though they lost...tear).

Overall, an amazing weekend of the most random adventures and activities I would never have done if it weren't for Andy. Thank you! Enjoy the pics!

We are ready for our first Dierks Bentley concert.

Look who we spotted. Haha. Just kidding but that is a killer costume. Totally life-like.

This is a crappy pic of Jack Ingram. He opened for Dierks. I really liked his music aswell.

This is the opening to the show. I think I should get an award for my cinematic skills!

Dierks with his rockstar pose. YES!

Seriously. Look how close we were. Thank you Chris!

I LOVE FOOTBALL!!!

At first I thought this picture wasn't centered but I really like the fans that were sitting right next to us! True Viks fans!

Last but not least was my favorite street. Minnehaha! That is awesome!

Border Crossing, Martians and Muskies!

Below are the first set of images from my trip to Minnesota. The captions will add a little more description of what I've been doing while here in the "City of Lakes."

This sign lets you know that the "land of 10,000 lakes" welcomes you. They don't mess around in Minnesota!

Andy shows you the wonderful trail that started our border crossing journey along the St. Croix river. For a split second, we were in Wisconsin but we didn't want to overstay our welcome. (Their welcome sign sucked compared to Minnesota's.)

The happy hikers. After one hike, we were invited into the Hikers Club! (OK not reallly)
Look how excited we are!

What a view of the St. Croix river!

It's not a typo...Not Chicago but, in fact, ChiSago! Totally a Minnesotian word.

Ok, these pictures are amazing! We found some random sculture field full of the most random things you have ever seen. Andy is admiring one of the weirdest things I have seen in my life. I just called them the Martians.

Apparrently the Martians were friendly because the let me hold their hand.

Look how lifelike their faces were. Just made the whole thing that much freakier.

Ok...Super Random. An old shack raised above ground by very strong string. Look at the next pic to see inside.

How amazing is that cat's cradle!

Now we are onto the last part of our two day adventure; Muskie Fishing. This was so interesting to me because I had never caught anything bigger than a catfish before so it was quite amazing to see how big it really was. That fish is 48 inches long, my friend, and I netted it!

And yes, we release her back into the wild!

Here Andy will show you a little figure 8 in the water, then cast a beautiful cast!

They may not have the beach at sunset, but the lake at sunset it so beautiful. It was probably in the mid to low 50s while we were out there and I, the Southern California girl, survived!

This was last weekend at an early Halloween party. I was on a low budget and used stuff in my closet for a costume...hence Cowgirl. Pete was a very proud Abraham Lincoln.

That was my last week. Hope you guys are all doing good. I will be back in town soon!

DUNKED!

Hello everyone!
I am really tired but wanted to post a video of Robby's baptism this past weekend. Its soooo cool to see people make that step forward in their walk with God. A total of 13 people were baptised that night. So cool.

(I'm watching the World Series right now and it's really depressing being a Rockies bandwagoner)

Burn-Out Contest

I've been meaning to put this link in since this burn-out contest was so funny.

The actual contest goes for awhile but if you wait long enough, you'll see what happens to the Suzuki guy. Its pretty funny.

Two Long Nights!

Hello from home! I am back at home and ready for some sleep. But I did want to share some phenominal pictures from the weekend.

Just a little insight to the weekend: We did pretty good on Friday night with a fourth-place finish from Timmy. But the real drama happened on Saturday night when Chad Reed took out Timmy going into the first corner. Timmy had the holeshot but Chad was not going to have that. Pretty hardcore. So afterwards, Timmy was a little heated at Chad and it almost turned ugly. Dana, Timmy's mechanic for the weekend, did a good job of holding him back before anything happened. He ended the night in 12th. Wish i had pictures but it was so amazed that he was about to get in a fight.

After the race, the team went out and we ended up staying out till five in the morning. It was so much fun hanging with everyone when there was no stress from the races. Very fun! Hope you like the pictures!

Dani and I after the races finished.

Chris, my friend who races as a privateer in AMA Superbike, came out to the races. I call this the akward pictures since we look like we don't want to take the picture.
Corey made it out to the event! He owes me because I got him tickets to the race. Maybe a free adjustment?

Dana and I at the second place we stopped during the night. He was a high roller! At one point, he was missing his shirt.

Timmy and I enjoying the night.

The gang hanging with David Vuillenmin.

Here is Dr. John. He gave my friends and I a tour of the Asterisk rig where they take injured riders. It was pretty sweet!

Jeff Emig was hanging out a Kawi. Fro was racing a "re-match" race with Huffman and LaRocco.

After Big B moved the rig out of the parking lot, he was ready for a good night.
This is our gangster picture!

Last and most definitely NOT least is Jason Weigandt's ripped shirt. The farmer tan from all those GNCC's was in full effect!

And that's all I got! It was a great weekend. Hope you all enjoy the pics, especially the blackmail pic. YES!

Falling Asleep

Hey Everyone!
I'm on the road again, as the title of the blog suggests. This weekend, I'm in Vegas...again. I was just here two weeks ago for the Kawasaki dealer show and now I'm back for the US Open of Supercross.
This weekend is pretty special since I have a few people I know that have come out for the race. Dani is representing the best friend forever (BFF) commitment by showing up! I love my friend! There are also some people that I know from road racing that were able to make it. Awesome.
Right now we are getting ready for night 2 of the weekend's racing. Timmy Ferry finish last night in fourth and did really great. Tomorrow night i'll have more pictures and fun times from Vegas.

Here are some pics from the weekend and the previous weekend with Kristen:

Dana is trying to handle the hardcore job of Timmy's mechanic.

Notice all the stuff that is attached to Dana: water bottle in pocket, three pairs of goggles attached to him, walkie talkie, and a big fat smile!

Night two of our night out on the town! We are hot!

WOW...is all i have to say!

Look at the bootie!

Pete, who was in my group during my study abroad in London, came out to Fox Sports Grill. I hadn't seen him in 2 years.

Night one of our weekend out. Woot!

Pics for your viewing pleasure

Ok. I know how boring Friday's can be at work, so I decided to throw in several pics from the past to prove I just can't take serious pictures. Dani can attest to that. Post comments...let me know your thoughts.
This is what you do when you have one polaroid left.

So...I thought the timer was on but instead I got a very surprised Dani picture instead. I actually prefer it!

Dinner for friends...still no serious face.

Dani gets super competitive at the Cowboy party. Luis ended up decapitating the poor donkey.

Jodi and I at Jessica's wedding last August. That's the "I'm having a great time" face.

Speaking of Jodi and Jessica, this is the bachelorette party at the Pirate Dinner Theater. Take note of the bird on Jessica's head.

High School Camp from 2006. We traded headwear and this is the hardcore picture we got.

Ummm....yeah.

My brother Shaun had a few more than I did that night.

This was summer of 2005...I'm ready for the pool.

Bon fire a few summers ago...Evan's proudest moment!

Lastly, my dad and I took a ride after all the rains in 2005. The hills were beautiful and I was able to see this cool memorial that my dad and his friends started.

That's all for now. Hopefully you were entertained for a few minutes and now you can get through the rest your Ash-tastic day.
