Dance, Dance

Here are the videos...

Frankie Says Relax...

This past Tuesday night, my church held an 80's Christmas Party. I couldn't sit back and let another person outdress me. So I made sure that I had the brightest, greatest outfit ever! It paid off since Phil and I won the best dressed contest. We didn't win anything but bragging rights and I'm ok with that!

Check out the madness:

Oh I'm ready! Represent Kawasaki!

We were ready for the casting call of Flashdance 2.

Phil and I won best dressed. His outfit was so amazing and included a fanny pack.

Gabe and Sara. The attitude was seriously amazing!

Although we didn't plan it, Phil and I looked like we dressed up together and so did Sarah and Gabe. Here is out weird group shot.Bust out the Ray-Bans.

Ready for some Jazz hands.

The girls!

I didn't know what was going on...

Sarah was teaching everyone how to Jazzercise. She was awesome!

I don't think you could get anymore florescent colors in one place.

Dani totally wants to smile!

We HAD to stretch before dancing!

Luis made it down for the event after he moved up near Valencia. There's no resisting an 80's party.

***I'll be uploading videos when I can! They are amazing!

Vegas in November

Just when I thought all my Vegas trips were over, there was one last race and event that brought me back to the city of lights (I like that better than Sin City). The last round of the AMA/Maxxis EnduroCross was held last Saturday and the AMA Pro Racing Awards Banquet was on Sunday. Dani and I had a great time, especially when we got Dani in a super nice dress! It was the highlight of the weekend!

Look how hot Dani is! WOW!

Evie, Me, and Kristen enjoying the night life.

Dana and I at the Voo Doo Lounge. It had a great view of the strip.

My mom gettin crazy on the dance floor.

Sara and I at the Voo Doo Lounge.

Here is Ben being Ben.

Belated Halloween...

I had to post some great shots from a Halloween party I went to last weekend. Dani's Pancho and sombrero are amazing. I went as a British person (...just go with it). Hope you are all doing well!

Rock the Pancho!!!

I know its a stretch but I can see the British...

This guy and girl were some equestrian type of animal from Star Wars. I feel bad b/c I can't remember the name.

Luke and R2D2!!! I think those were homemade costumes.

Hat switching!

And yeah...Elmo goes crazy!

Halloween at Kawasaki!

Halloween is a fun time around the Kawasaki office. Lots of people are dressed up and I was involved in a skit that won our group $100. That's right! In the skit, I was a "racer-chaser" with this guy who actually dressed up like a girl (see pictures). I couldn't bring myself to wear something as slutty as he did but I played the part and had fun! Happy Halloween!

Here are the Team Greenables. It consists of four dedicated employees of our Team Green program. They go big! (Nice Tights)

This is the Team Manager for Team Green. Don't let him fool you! He's quietly hilarious!

This is our rider that comes in on his broken motorcycle that needs the help of the Team Greenables! (He's the truck driver for Team Green)

Ok...there isn't much to say other than he didn't leave any detail out. He has the g-string, tramp stamp on his back, earings, ...the works!

Do you see me? I hoped I would be camouflaged in with Derek (the guy dressed as a girl). I think we were laughing because as they were changing the tire, they dropped the bike off the stand.

I think I'll keep running the purple hair.

Ok, this won best costume. It won't mean anything that doesn't work at Kawi but she is dressed like the guy who delivers all the packages. He has a very distinct look and she pulled off the strut to win her the best costume title!

This is who she was dressed up as...Richard.

This was second place for very good reason! She is a small girl and her body type fit perfectly to be a small child being carried away by an alien. How cool is that!?

Free is the best price!

Hello everyone,
I already showed you what has happened during my first two days of being in Minnesota. Now here is what happened in the second two days. I actually met this awesome guy on the plane on my way to Minnesota who worked for the country singer Dierks Bentley. I had never heard of him but I listened to a few songs and really liked him. He invited Andy and I to the concert they were having on Saturday night about an hour and a half from Minneapolis. Talk about good seats. We were right there next to the stage! Dierks' show was really entertaining and I now have two of his CD's since he sold me with his great voice and fun lyrics.

A trip to Minnesota wouldn't be complete without a Vikings game. Did I mention it was also free? Andy and I were getting hooked up all over the place. First the concert and now Vikings tickets. I honestly hadn't been to a football game since the L.A. Rams played at Angel Stadium. Since I claimed to be a Vikings fan most of my childhood, it was so fun to be able to go there and cheer for them (even though they lost...tear).

Overall, an amazing weekend of the most random adventures and activities I would never have done if it weren't for Andy. Thank you! Enjoy the pics!

We are ready for our first Dierks Bentley concert.

Look who we spotted. Haha. Just kidding but that is a killer costume. Totally life-like.

This is a crappy pic of Jack Ingram. He opened for Dierks. I really liked his music aswell.

This is the opening to the show. I think I should get an award for my cinematic skills!

Dierks with his rockstar pose. YES!

Seriously. Look how close we were. Thank you Chris!

I LOVE FOOTBALL!!!

At first I thought this picture wasn't centered but I really like the fans that were sitting right next to us! True Viks fans!

Last but not least was my favorite street. Minnehaha! That is awesome!

Border Crossing, Martians and Muskies!

Below are the first set of images from my trip to Minnesota. The captions will add a little more description of what I've been doing while here in the "City of Lakes."

This sign lets you know that the "land of 10,000 lakes" welcomes you. They don't mess around in Minnesota!

Andy shows you the wonderful trail that started our border crossing journey along the St. Croix river. For a split second, we were in Wisconsin but we didn't want to overstay our welcome. (Their welcome sign sucked compared to Minnesota's.)

The happy hikers. After one hike, we were invited into the Hikers Club! (OK not reallly)
Look how excited we are!

What a view of the St. Croix river!

It's not a typo...Not Chicago but, in fact, ChiSago! Totally a Minnesotian word.

Ok, these pictures are amazing! We found some random sculture field full of the most random things you have ever seen. Andy is admiring one of the weirdest things I have seen in my life. I just called them the Martians.

Apparrently the Martians were friendly because the let me hold their hand.

Look how lifelike their faces were. Just made the whole thing that much freakier.

Ok...Super Random. An old shack raised above ground by very strong string. Look at the next pic to see inside.

How amazing is that cat's cradle!

Now we are onto the last part of our two day adventure; Muskie Fishing. This was so interesting to me because I had never caught anything bigger than a catfish before so it was quite amazing to see how big it really was. That fish is 48 inches long, my friend, and I netted it!

And yes, we release her back into the wild!

Here Andy will show you a little figure 8 in the water, then cast a beautiful cast!

They may not have the beach at sunset, but the lake at sunset it so beautiful. It was probably in the mid to low 50s while we were out there and I, the Southern California girl, survived!

This was last weekend at an early Halloween party. I was on a low budget and used stuff in my closet for a costume...hence Cowgirl. Pete was a very proud Abraham Lincoln.

That was my last week. Hope you guys are all doing good. I will be back in town soon!
