My New Look

If you haven't noticed, the header of my blog is now all sweet and is pretty much the coolest thing ever. Thanks to Andy, my Muskie fisherman-slash-graphic designer extrodinare-slash-ESP in-tune friend, I am able to be cool. And if you know me, I’m totally not. Thanks Andy!

This past weekend, I had my second-consecutive weekend off. I really didn't know what to do, except...watch more Scrubs. I'm definitely on disc three of season two, with absolutely no shame! I did get out one night and hang with Dani for her 24th birthday on Friday! Pictures…pictures!

Now that I have had my two weekends, its back on the road for 5 consecutive weekends. July is a busy time but I’m really looking forward to it because its always something different. This weekend is EnduroCross. Watch the below to get an idea of the obstacles these guys face.

The following weekend, I get to visit Pennsylvania for an ATV race. Those are always fun because the guys like to have a good time. I remember my first ATV race last year. I was blow away at how loud and pretty much amazingly fun those guys were. The middle of July is the MotoGP road race in Monterey, Calif. I’m pretty stoked to see my friends Chris and Garrett. They always keep the road races entertaining.

After I drive up to Monterey, I’m driving back up that way for an NHRA drag race. And then a day after I get back I head to Nashville, Tenn. for an amateur race and another road race. Lets just say that I’m going to be busy.

Keep me posted with what you are up to. Always feel free to email me at ashleyblittle@gmail.com. I love, love, love hearing from everyone while I’m on the road.

Coming soon…a fiffer feffer feff tribute!

My Weekend

I've decided to start naming my blogs in the same way that the Scrubs episodes are named. They always start with a "My" before them. Its quite clever and I definitely have no problem using their idea for my little blog that no one reads because no one leaves comments. haha.

Anyhow, this was my first weekend in some time that I have had some time off and it was perfect since the temperatures were amazingly high. I pretty much had the top down all weekend in the mini coop and if it wasn't down, it was too hot. Have I forgotten how to take my free time and use it wisely? Heck No!!!

On Friday, I started the day out right by going with Dana to RJ's Cafe in Dana Point (oh so many things I could say with the whole Dana in Dana Point. Hehe) Anyways, after that I had filled my tummy with delicious banana pancakes (don't say banana hammock). Then, I went and got some sun at my favorite place in the world; the beach. I proceeded to watch more Scrubs episodes and finally ended my night early. I got to sleep in on Saturday but promised some friends I would have breakfast with them...and more wonderful pancakes. Cinnamon Pumpkin this time. Saturday was a friends birthday party at San Onofre. I got to catch more sun there while lots of the guys (and Coral) caught some awesome waves.

I've really decided that I can't live away from the beach at all. 20 minutes is pretty far for me but I am so thankful that I am right in between all the great beaches. Today I checked out a former Cornerstone pastors' church in Mission Viejo, which is actually closer to my house. It was fun seeing him in his new setting. Although he has been there for 6 months now. I continued the day with more lounging by the pool and ended with a famiy dinner and watching the sunset. When its a beautiful day, I just can't sit still and let it go by.

I've been slacking on the picture taking but I've got a few. Let me know how your weekend went and I will look forward to hearing from you. I always do!!!

If Timmy rode a four wheeler, this is what it would look like.

You don't have to hide. The food is great!

I am hot. The wind was blowing and then I hit traffic. Lame.

My new hat. My old face.

The beach! Kaipo and Kurt gear up to go out!

My incredible invisible stantion!!! I'm amazing. I do all my own stunts. Thanks you!

Lakers make me mad

Thanks to the great effort of the Lakers, the Boston Celtics are now the NBA Champions. I am pretty upset but everyone predicted that turnout at the beginning of the season so I should have expected it.

Below are pictures from when the Lakers blew their huge lead last Thursday. I happened to be watching with Celtics fans and it was not too fun. But I think these pictures might disprove that. Haha.

Someone is excited about the Celtics comeback...

I made use of the Monster armband!

That's not fair. I'm sure Preston would have ridden if he had a ride.

He's good at his job.

Apparently I have a reputation

I am currently covering a motocross in Pennsylvania this weekend. When I checked into my hotel on Friday, one of the first things I noticed was the handicap shower in my bathroom. It was one of those small showers that you can sit down in with a removable shower head. Why is this ironic? Well, if you didn't see my blog a few posts ago, you might want to go and take a look at my beautiful mark I got on my chin after I slipped and fell in the shower. I mean that thing is good. The once scary moment has now turned to my advantage as I am able gross out everyone with display of the huge bump and/or the array of colors that continue to change with each passing day.

Not only did my room come with a handicap shower, it came with a call button if I needed assistance. Wow...they really knew I was coming. But as my good friend Ben told me, even if they made a slip-proof shower, I would find some way to fall in it. Thanks Ben.

Anyhow, I'm enjoying my time with a different team. It is definitely a different atmosphere. Yesterday it was raining hard and the team decided it wouldn't be beneficial to go out in the rain, especially with conditions looking good for Sunday. We ended up getting back to the hotel about 2:30. Casey, Dana and I decided to go bowling at the alley that was in walking distance from the hotel. Although I didn't win a game, I wasn't always last. In fact, I lost a dinner bet to Casey, then bet double or nothing the next game and won! Yep, I'm awesome. Haha.

Well enjoy the pictures and I'll hopefully check back in this week!

The shower that was built for me...Ms. Clumsy.

This was the sign and emergency button next to the shower. Yep, this room was especially made for me.

This was the score card after I won the double or nothing on dinner. Go Dana with a 169!

The guys managed to get identical balls and since they are super competitive with one another, they were making sure that they knew which ball was which so they wouldn't use the wrong one.

Timmy Ferry came with Evan and bowled with the bumpers. Evan was so cute!

I've got real friends...

Hello Again!
I have now managed to make it through another weekend of travel. The photos below might show you why I am able to get through weekend after weekend of travel. Their names are Chris and Garrett. Although they act totally crazy, they make me feel at home and that's what a girl needs when always away from home. When I had a really tough night, they were there to make me smile and joke around.

I realized this weekend that there is one important aspect to life that everyone needs. That is friendship. True friendship. When life turns upside down, true friends are there to offer comfort and warm words. When life is happy, they are the ones that are there to help share it with. This weekend, my life got a tad "crazy" and my true friends were right there to cheer me up.

If you couldn't tell by the video from last weekend, I have a lot of fun at what I do. It's so great to see the country and be challenged. Hope you like the pictures.

Patty...Yep!

This was my arm rest on the trip home. Are you kidding me American Airlines? Duck tape?

After working out a deal, Garrett (being carried) is apart of the Siebenhaar family. Can you see the brotherly love and the "are you kidding me" look of the Papa Siebenhaar?

This is Garrett and I on the four-wheeler. Yes we are so awesome!

Garrett's first press conference. He did awesome in qualifying and got a first-place starting position. YESSS!

Chris and I at the start. His mom is the hottest umbrella girl ever!

Here's Garrett on the front row!

Chris and his parents, Bob and Peggy.

Gotta have one dork face on the blog.

Hope you enjoy my dorky thoughts and crazy pictures.
