Yay for Mothers!

There are many amazing women in my life. Friends, wise women from church, and most importantly my mother. It has been an amazing run with my mother. We have had our ups and downs for sure but our love for each other wins out every time. My mother is one of the most understanding and even tempered people I have met. It takes a lot to upset her, which I've so often taken for granted.

On Friday I attended a memorial paddle out that remembered the life of the amazing and incredible Guy Poncy. It reminded me again, as did his funeral, not to take the people closest to me for granted. I should live everyday like there won't be another with the people I cherish. So mother, I hope you know how much you are loved and that no words could describe how much you mean to me. I love you.
