I'm Back

Hello everyone,
I've been harassed enough by Luis to enter a new blog after a month hiatus. What have I been doing? Well since the last blog entry, which I believe was the awesome 80's party, I have been staying extra busy getting ready for the AMA Supercross Series to start. Between photo shoots, posters, media guides, and other everyday activities, I remained busy through the holiday's and it has hardly slowed down.
In the midst of all the busy days and down time with my dear friends, I have been learning several valuable lessons. I used to get stressed over stupid stuff and I would be in bad moods a little easier than normal. If you know me, I don't get mad too easily. Finally, I had some sense knocked into me. I need to have more joy and thanksgiving, like it talks about in Isaiah 12. I was reminded to always be thankful for the life I do have.
All in all, I am going to make the most out of every situation, see the good in everyone, and never sweat the small stuff. Knowing that friends are dealing with heavy life-changing events makes me think twice about the stuff I complain about. (Steve, I'm praying for you!)

Thanks for listening to me rant. Here are some pictures from the last two supercross events.

Anaheim II- Retro Event

Timmy Ferry rode in old O'Neal gear. This gear was the actual stuff they used in the 80's. No reproduced stuff here!

James walks the track in his Darryl from Coming To America hairdo.

Not only can he pull it off, Rado's afro was seriously the coolest thing I had seen in a long time.

Andrew McFarlane got into the spirit of the weekend with a funny wig. He was standing right in front of me and I didn't even recognize him.

They busted out the retro bikes that used to race at Anaheim back in the 80's. These bikes are so rad and have so much history behind them. This one is Jeff Ward's championship winning bike from 1988.

For a split second, Ryan got into the spirit of the weekend. But after the wig started itching, the great mullet came off.

If you ever wanted to know what a team manager looks like after realizing your top rider is out for the season...take a look.
Just kidding, we didn't know James was out yet but this is what I think it would look like.

Timmy took some time to talk with a boy who has a brain tumor. He seemed to know a lot about Timmy and his accomplishments last year with SX/MX/ and MXON.

So if you have ever been to Angel Stadium, you would have seen these beach chairs up behind the dugouts. Well, the ATV Team Manager Jimmy White and ATV Rider Josh Creamer decided that was their seat for the SX Main Event.

San Francisco Supercross

Dana gets the bike ready for the rain.

Fro tries to keep it together while doing a walk around the bike.

Since Andrew McFarlane got hurt this week, Motosport Xtreme Kawasaki put a dummy on his bike. When I saw this dummy in the truck, it freaked me out. Sooo lifelike.

This is what happens when there is nothing going on...extremely bored mechanics.

Timmy and Dana make sure everything is just right.

These were the awesome track conditions in San Francisco!

Look who got the holeshot in the Lites class. Tommy Hahn! Congrats.
