A few more pics...

Hello!
I found a few CLASSIC pics from the weekend!

So this wasn't this weekend but this is Dani and I celebrating a night out for a friends birthday...oh and this is Dani with long hair. She looks amazing with it short.
(Pics to follow with Dani's short hair)

The aftermath...check out my get-up. And yes, those are polka dot rain boots.

Just a little more foam will do the trick!

This photo is for Andy...you know what I'm talkin about!

I'm Back

Hello everyone,
I've been harassed enough by Luis to enter a new blog after a month hiatus. What have I been doing? Well since the last blog entry, which I believe was the awesome 80's party, I have been staying extra busy getting ready for the AMA Supercross Series to start. Between photo shoots, posters, media guides, and other everyday activities, I remained busy through the holiday's and it has hardly slowed down.
In the midst of all the busy days and down time with my dear friends, I have been learning several valuable lessons. I used to get stressed over stupid stuff and I would be in bad moods a little easier than normal. If you know me, I don't get mad too easily. Finally, I had some sense knocked into me. I need to have more joy and thanksgiving, like it talks about in Isaiah 12. I was reminded to always be thankful for the life I do have.
All in all, I am going to make the most out of every situation, see the good in everyone, and never sweat the small stuff. Knowing that friends are dealing with heavy life-changing events makes me think twice about the stuff I complain about. (Steve, I'm praying for you!)

Thanks for listening to me rant. Here are some pictures from the last two supercross events.

Anaheim II- Retro Event

Timmy Ferry rode in old O'Neal gear. This gear was the actual stuff they used in the 80's. No reproduced stuff here!

James walks the track in his Darryl from Coming To America hairdo.

Not only can he pull it off, Rado's afro was seriously the coolest thing I had seen in a long time.

Andrew McFarlane got into the spirit of the weekend with a funny wig. He was standing right in front of me and I didn't even recognize him.

They busted out the retro bikes that used to race at Anaheim back in the 80's. These bikes are so rad and have so much history behind them. This one is Jeff Ward's championship winning bike from 1988.

For a split second, Ryan got into the spirit of the weekend. But after the wig started itching, the great mullet came off.

If you ever wanted to know what a team manager looks like after realizing your top rider is out for the season...take a look.
Just kidding, we didn't know James was out yet but this is what I think it would look like.

Timmy took some time to talk with a boy who has a brain tumor. He seemed to know a lot about Timmy and his accomplishments last year with SX/MX/ and MXON.

So if you have ever been to Angel Stadium, you would have seen these beach chairs up behind the dugouts. Well, the ATV Team Manager Jimmy White and ATV Rider Josh Creamer decided that was their seat for the SX Main Event.

San Francisco Supercross

Dana gets the bike ready for the rain.

Fro tries to keep it together while doing a walk around the bike.

Since Andrew McFarlane got hurt this week, Motosport Xtreme Kawasaki put a dummy on his bike. When I saw this dummy in the truck, it freaked me out. Sooo lifelike.

This is what happens when there is nothing going on...extremely bored mechanics.

Timmy and Dana make sure everything is just right.

These were the awesome track conditions in San Francisco!

Look who got the holeshot in the Lites class. Tommy Hahn! Congrats.

Time Flies When Your Drag Racing

Today was the big race day at the ol' South Georgia Motorsports Park drag strip. Our day was running great but unfortunetly we didn't take the overall win. Though there was a silver lining because Rickey Gadson set the record for the lowest elapsed time. I mentioned this in the earlier blog but at the end of the day, there wasn't anyone that could legally beat it (there was a faster time but they were disqualified). So that made the day a little better even though we went out in the finals.

I did get to experience Cracker Barrel while I was in the south. Reid and I ate dinner in the store-slash-restaurant before heading back to the hotel. Now onto the tips of travel.

TIP #2

There is one thing that I feel is necessary on this trip that I didn't bring. Talladega Nights, The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. A classic movie, especially when attending all types of racing. That movie has everything from how to act while in front of the camera, how to antagonize your opponents, and of course, how to get into autograph mode.

It's truly a classic and if you haven't seen it, I'll let you borrow mine.

So yes...always bring your copy of the Ricky Bobby story (Not to be confused with the Justin Bobby story, which is my life! haha shout out to Kristen)

It is now 12:45 my time in good ol' Valdosta, GA so I'll be heading to bed. We get up early to drive four hours southeast to Melbourne, FL for an off-road race. EXCITING. You know you wish you could come...haha. Keep posting comments and I'll keep trying to find interesting tidbits along my travels! Love you guys!

Dance, Dance

Here are the videos...

Frankie Says Relax...

This past Tuesday night, my church held an 80's Christmas Party. I couldn't sit back and let another person outdress me. So I made sure that I had the brightest, greatest outfit ever! It paid off since Phil and I won the best dressed contest. We didn't win anything but bragging rights and I'm ok with that!

Check out the madness:

Oh I'm ready! Represent Kawasaki!

We were ready for the casting call of Flashdance 2.

Phil and I won best dressed. His outfit was so amazing and included a fanny pack.

Gabe and Sara. The attitude was seriously amazing!

Although we didn't plan it, Phil and I looked like we dressed up together and so did Sarah and Gabe. Here is out weird group shot.Bust out the Ray-Bans.

Ready for some Jazz hands.

The girls!

I didn't know what was going on...

Sarah was teaching everyone how to Jazzercise. She was awesome!

I don't think you could get anymore florescent colors in one place.

Dani totally wants to smile!

We HAD to stretch before dancing!

Luis made it down for the event after he moved up near Valencia. There's no resisting an 80's party.

***I'll be uploading videos when I can! They are amazing!

Vegas in November

Just when I thought all my Vegas trips were over, there was one last race and event that brought me back to the city of lights (I like that better than Sin City). The last round of the AMA/Maxxis EnduroCross was held last Saturday and the AMA Pro Racing Awards Banquet was on Sunday. Dani and I had a great time, especially when we got Dani in a super nice dress! It was the highlight of the weekend!

Look how hot Dani is! WOW!

Evie, Me, and Kristen enjoying the night life.

Dana and I at the Voo Doo Lounge. It had a great view of the strip.

My mom gettin crazy on the dance floor.

Sara and I at the Voo Doo Lounge.

Here is Ben being Ben.

Belated Halloween...

I had to post some great shots from a Halloween party I went to last weekend. Dani's Pancho and sombrero are amazing. I went as a British person (...just go with it). Hope you are all doing well!

Rock the Pancho!!!

I know its a stretch but I can see the British...

This guy and girl were some equestrian type of animal from Star Wars. I feel bad b/c I can't remember the name.

Luke and R2D2!!! I think those were homemade costumes.

Hat switching!

And yeah...Elmo goes crazy!
